All VipaHealth applications are Web-native meaning that we design our applications
from the bottom up to work over the Internet unlike other pseudo called
web-enabled software. Therefore, there are no expensive or cumbersome software
installation necessary on your computers. Our applications run securely
over the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you need is Internet
access, computer with terminal or a web-enabled device and you are ready
to go. For a faster connection and higher efficiency using our applications
we strongly recommend a broadband connection.
Our EMR and billing Solutions are truly a Software
as a service(SaaS) model. This
means a software application delivery model where a software vendor develops
a web-native software application and hosts and operates (either independently
or through a third-party) the application for use by its customers over
the Internet. Customers do not pay for owning the software itself but rather
for using it. They use it through an API accessible over the Web and often
written using Web Services. The term SaaS has become the industry preferred
term, generally replacing the earlier terms Application Service Provider
(ASP), On-Demand and "Utility computing".

or disrupt your office workflow as some on site server-based installations

entails giving you secure access to your practice on our servers. This process

The only hardware requirement is an internet connected computer with terminal

VipaHealth provides maintenance, support and backup
at no additional charge. Maintenance of the system and servers
as well as system redundancy and backup is done at our site.
HIPAA compliance. VipaHealth continually
monitors for new HIPAA guidelines and updates patient privacy, security
and hardware requirements (encryption, etc.) As they become available, we
make the necessary updates and pass them on to our clients.
